Dr. Li-Meng Yan, M.D., Ph.D., a virologist from China who recently fled the communist country as well as her prestigious job at Hong Kong University (HKU), is back in the news with claims that the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) was created by Chinese scientists in a laboratory.
Appearing on British television, Dr. Li-Meng talked about a paper she co-authored with three other Chinese scientists that highlights the “unusual features” of SARS-CoV-2, the genome of which she says is suggestive of “sophisticated laboratory modification rather than natural evolution.”
Dr. Li-Meng’s paper offers a full delineation of the “probable synthetic route” of the virus, which was not some random occurrence in bats as was claimed early on by purveyors of the plandemic. Instead, it had to have been tampered with either for research or biowarfare purposes.
While still working at HKU, Dr. Li-Meng “clearly assessed” that the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) originated in “a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) military lab.” The Wuhan wet market, on the other hand, “was just used as a decoy,” she claims.
“I knew that once I spoke up, I could disappear at any time, just like all the brave protesters in Hong Kong,” Dr. Li-Meng is quoted as saying about why she decided to flee communist China. “I could disappear at any time. Even my name would no longer exist.”
The latest Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) news, by the way, can be found at Pandemic.news.
Keep in mind that Dr. Li-Meng is affiliated with at least 13 different publications that have been cited some 557 times. A link she tweeted to ResearchGate shows these and other affiliations, which clearly demonstrate her expertise in the field of virology.
With that said, Dr. Li-Meng’s claims about the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) would seem to hold weight. While the true severity of the novel virus in question remains up for debate, there would seem to be little doubt at this point that it was hatched in a Chinese lab, and did not just suddenly appear at a wild meat market.
“The evidence shows that SARS-CoV-2 should be a laboratory product created by using bat coronaviruses ZC45 and/or ZXC21 as a template and/or backbone,” Dr. Li-Meng’s paper explains.
“Building upon the evidence, we further postulate a synthetic route for SARS-CoV-2, demonstrating that the laboratory-creation of this coronavirus is convenient and can be accomplished in approximately six months.”
The infamous receptor-binding “spike” associated with the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), which you can see in the headline image of this article, is likewise unnatural. According to Dr. Li-Meng and her colleagues, it was probably created through genetic engineering.
“The Spike proteins decorate the exterior of the coronavirus particles,” Dr. Li-Meng’s paper explains. “They play an important role in infection as they mediate the interaction with host cell receptors and thereby help determine the host range and tissue tropism of the virus.”
Many more details as to Dr. Li-Meng’s findings are available at this link if you care to peruse them. But suffice it to say that many different features of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) suggest it to be an unnatural, lab-created phenomenon for which communist China holds full responsibility.
“The paper then makes two critical observations for those who claim that SARS-CoV-2 has a natural origin: its RBM (receptor-binding motif) could have only been acquired in one of the two possible routes: 1) an ancient recombination event followed by convergent evolution or 2) a natural recombination event that occurred fairly recently,” explains Zero Hedge, which as you may recall was banned from Twitter back on Jan. 31 for making these claims, which were dubbed by the social media “gods” as baseless “conspiracy theories.”
