Rapper Kanye West recently announced that he intends to run for president this year. The one-time Trump supporter has, in recent years, converted to Christianity and released an album entitled, Jesus is King. And while we don’t know just how seriously to take all the things he said during a rambling four-hour interview with Forbes, there was one comment he made that one can only hope will wake up the masses.
After reiterating his opposition to abortion on the grounds that he follows the word of the Bible, West said: “Planned Parenthoods have been placed inside cities by white supremacists to do the Devil’s work.”
In the era of Black Lives Matter and the out-of-control cancel culture, it’s appalling that more people aren’t speaking out against American’s biggest abortion chain and the fact that it targets minorities disproportionately for abortion.
In fact, the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, was known for her racist and pro-eugenics views. Sanger believed that black people were inferior to white people and created PP to get rid of these and other beings she felt were inferior. The other “health services” they offered included vasectomies for black men. Today, Planned Parenthood regularly urges black girls as young as just nine to get the high-risk HPV vaccine, which has caused deaths and a slew of scary side effects.
More than 19 million black children have been aborted in the U.S. since 1973, and black women make up 36 percent of all abortions even though they represent just 13 percent of the population.
In fact, abortion is the leading cause of death right now for black Americans, killing more than violence, cancer, heart disease, diabetes, AIDS or car accidents.
The abortion rate for black women is four times that of white women, with more than 900 black babies being aborted each day. A 2016 study even found that the number of black babies being aborted in New York City exceeds those who are born there.
West also expressed skepticism about a COVID-19 vaccine fixing the crisis, saying he was “extremely cautious” and worried about people being microchipped.
On the topic of school prayer, he told Forbes that they “have murders in Chicago at an all-time high because the human beings working for the Devil removed God and prayer from the schools. That means more drugs, more murders, more suicide.”
The day after his Forbes interview, West tweeted a screenshot of a search on Google for “what does a 6 month fetus look like” and wrote “These souls deserve to live.” The tweet was later deleted, however.
Last month, a group of employees at Planned Parenthood of Greater New York wrote an open letter that called for now-former CEO Laura McQuade to be removed from her post for racism and fostering what they termed a “toxic work environment.”
In their letter, they pointed out Sanger’s history of racism and said that black staff there are still dealing with systemic racism, unequal pay and a lack of upward mobility.
In response to West’s comments, the director of Black Leadership and Engagement for Planned Parenthood’s national headquarters, Nia Martin-Robinson, said in a statement to TMZ: “Any insinuation that abortion is Black genocide is offensive and infantilizing.” She also took the opportunity to slam the police, saying: “The real threat to Black communities’ safety, health and lives stems from lack of access to quality, affordable health care, police violence and the criminalization of reproductive health care by anti-abortion opposition.”
Say what you will about Kanye, but when it comes to Planned Parenthood and genocide, he’s spot on. They are the biggest killer of black Americans, period, and it’s hilarious to see them post on social media that “black lives matter.”
